Aluminium-framed glass partitions

The most common office partition: an aluminium frame fixed to floor, ceiling and walls, glazed with clear or frosted glass. It gives offices and meeting rooms their own space while keeping the open, bright feel of the floor. Frames are available in the same powder-coat colours as our aluminium windows and doors, such as white, charcoal, black and bronze.

Frameless glass partitions

Toughened glass panels held in slim top and bottom channels, with minimal or no vertical frames between them. Frameless glass suits boardrooms, reception areas and premium fit-outs where the glass should feel almost invisible.

Half-height and dwarf-wall partitions

Glass above a solid lower panel or a low wall. This gives privacy at desk height and light above it. It is a good fit for banking halls, clinics and open-plan offices.

Aluminium partitioning with solid panels

Aluminium frames with board or panel infill where full privacy is needed, such as store rooms, server rooms and consulting rooms. Panels can be combined with glass in the same run.

Privacy: frosted film, sandblast-look and manifestation

• Frosted film across the full height of the glass gives privacy and still lets light through.
• Privacy bands of frosted film at seated eye level leave the top and bottom of the glass clear.
• Manifestation (dots, lines or a logo at eye level) makes glass visible, so people don’t walk into it. Every glass partition should have it.
• Branded film with your logo or a pattern can be added on reception and boardroom glass.

Aluminium partitioning to create offices and cubicles

Aluminium partitioning is the quickest way to turn open floor space into separate rooms without building walls. The frames are fixed to the floor, ceiling and existing walls, and each run can be glazed, solid or a mix of both, so you choose how private each space is.

• Private offices and managers' offices carved out of an open-plan floor, full height, with a lockable partition door.
• Meeting and boardrooms in glass with frosted privacy bands, so the room stays bright.
• Cubicles for open-plan teams, call centres, banking halls and service counters: half-height partitions with glass above a solid lower panel give each desk its own space while light still crosses the floor.
• Consulting and treatment cubicles in clinics, and interview rooms in government offices, with solid panels where full privacy is needed.
• Store rooms, server rooms and records rooms in solid-panel aluminium partitioning, with a lockable door.

Send a floor plan or a sketch with rough measurements, the number of offices or cubicles you need and the ceiling height. If you do not have a layout, we can measure the space and propose one. Because the system is made to measure in our workshop, it can be planned around existing windows, columns, sockets and air-conditioning.

Outside Greater Gaborone we quote from your plan or photos with travel included, and installation can be planned around your business hours.

Partition doors

• Aluminium hinged doors, glazed or with panels, with lever handles, locks and door closers.
• Sliding doors where there is no space for a door to swing, on top-hung tracks.
• Frameless glass doors with patch fittings and floor springs or pivot hinges for a seamless glass wall.
• Locks and access: standard locks, keyed-alike sets for a whole floor, or preparation for an access control system fitted by your security provider.

How the job works

1. Send the basics on WhatsApp. Send photos or a floor plan, the approximate partition lengths and ceiling height, the number of doors, and whether you want clear, frosted or solid panels. Contractors can send the drawings and BOQ.
2. Free site measure in Greater Gaborone. We measure floor-to-ceiling heights, check levels and fixings, and confirm door positions and swing. The visit is free across Gaborone and Phakalane, Gabane, Mogoditshane, Tlokweng and Mmopane. Further afield in Botswana we quote from photos and measurements first.
3. Written, itemised quote within 4 business hours of having the measurements. Every line is listed (material, sizes, finish, installation), so you can compare quotes properly.
4. Fabrication in our Gabane workshop. Everything steel is cut, welded, ground, primed and painted at our workshop in Rasoko Ward, Gabane.
5. Installation by our own team, then a walk-through at handover so you know how locks, latches and fixings work.
