Do I need council approval for a carport?
Typically no for freestanding structures, but rules vary by suburb and plot size. We'll advise based on your specific site. Some homeowners' associations require written notice.
How soon can you install?
Most standard carports are fabricated and installed within 2–3 weeks of confirmation. We'll include an exact schedule in your quotation.
Do you do roof sheeting too?
Yes — Colorbond and IBR sheeting with full guttering and downpipe systems. We'll advise on colour and profile during the measurement visit.

A carport has to handle Botswana sun, sudden summer storms and the odd hailstorm, so we design every carport from the vehicle count, the space on site and the roofing you choose. All steel is cut and welded in our Gabane workshop and installed by our own team across Greater Gaborone.
Types. Single and double carports on posts, multi-bay carports for townhouse complexes and offices, and cantilever carports where you want no posts at the front for easy parking.

Yes. Cantilever carports have posts only at the back, leaving the front open for parking.
